e. Acts 3:23 Whoever does not hear Him will be destroyed

2. Positive- Right Response

a. Acts 3:19 Repent- change your mind; more than sorrow; word of hope for future
Be converted- turn to God- work of God in surrendered heart
“…sins may be blotted out- to obliterate, erase, wipe out. Wipe ink off the document.
b. Acts 3:19 …that times of refreshing may come- a cooling, a refreshing. Relief.
from the presence of the Lord- the face, the countenance, the outward expression.
c. Acts 3:22 Him you shall hear
d. Acts 3:26 …sent Him to bless you-
“…turning away every one of you from your iniquities– to turn away, to remove anything from anyone.

III. God’s Restoration

A. Present Restoration

2 Cor. 5:17 17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

B. Future Restoration

The Christian’s Body
1. 1 Cor. 15:50-53 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed–
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
